Premature withdrawal of Term Deposit (less than INR 3 crore)

Premature withdrawal penalty of 1% will apply
Interest will be paid at the rate prevailing on the date of deposit for the tenure the deposit or the withdrawn amount remained with the bank or at the contracted rate, whichever is lower after deducting applicable penal charge for premature withdrawal as per Terms & Conditions of the bank
No interest will be paid on deposits that remain with the bank for less than the minimum period for which the deposits were accepted depending on the type of deposit
TDS once applied (where applicable) shall not be reversed or adjusted on any pre‐mature closure / part closure of deposits or on submission of a reduced TDS rate application
